We offer multiple styles of photo booths to our clients, and it’s one of our most popular services.

This position is one of our most popular entry level positions. It is recommended for aspiring DJs to also train as photo booth attendants in order to gain as much event experience as possible, and get more event assignments!

This position is for you if you love people and want to interact and have fun with guests while keeping things running smoothly. We service high end clientele who expect a seamless, fun, and memorable photo booth experience!

Pay starts at entry level hourly and goes up in accordance with event experience.

One of our most popular entry-level positions. DJs can join with any level of experience as long as they fit the other criteria we are looking for and stand out at auditions.

If you are called back after auditions, you will be invited to attend and participate in our renowned DJ training program. To become an SKM DJ, you must pass your certification exam at the end of training. There is no tuition for training classes; they are offered for free (approx. $2,000 value). Only those who take the attendance policy seriously will continue on and become certified.

Pay is entry level hourly to start and increases rapidly with event experience. DJ pay has no cap and is merit-based after a certain level. Your pay will increase with your skill and experience level.

This is our highest paid position at SKM. MCs are expected to deliver fantastic results consistently under high pressure situations.

At SKM, we’re primarily known for our MC talent and most events are worked as a 2-person MC and DJ team. MCs are expected to act as a leader and role model for DJs, as well as be excellent at their job.

MCs must be outstanding in the following areas:

• Professional, organized, and timely client interaction

• Microphone work and crowd control

• Fun-loving, kind personality

• Carry the energy of a room or large crowd

• Already be proficient as a DJ

• Responsible and reliable

This position is the next step for many DJs who want to continue to grow into a leadership role. Typically we do not hire directly into this position but may make exceptions for highly talented and experienced performers.

We are especially interested in bilingual MCs!

Aspiring MCs are required to participate in MC training, attend all sessions, and pass the certification exam.

Starting pay is very competitive for first time MCs and quickly jumps up based on number of events completed. MC pay is not capped and is merit-based after a certain level.

MCs also receive stipends for managing event planning and setup where applicable.

This is a somewhat specialized position that requires both an eye for design and technical skill.

Lighting specialists must attend specialized lighting training to learn our equipment and systems. We offer a wide variety of lighting options to our clients including dance floor lighting, uplighting, moving spotlights, laser and haze, and more.

Lighting specialists are encouraged to also train as photo booth attendants and/or DJs in order to gain more event experience and get more event assignments!

Experience in lighting is welcomed but not necessary.

Pay starts at entry level hourly and goes up based on event experience and skill level. If you make yourself irreplaceable to us then your pay will reflect that!
